Volunteers

UQFC would not be what it is today without volunteers. Becoming a part of the UQFC football community as a Coach, Team Manager or simply helping out on game days, mid-season events and ad hoc initiatives can be a rewarding experience and the Club is very grateful for your offer of assistance

The club requires assistance in many ways ranging from small ad hoc tasks such as changing tap washers, helping with small building repairs or ground works, or volunteering in the Club Shop for an hour or two. Larger tasks are also available and these include providing assistance during carnivals, supervision of kit distribution/returns, team photos, presentation day set up or bringing your professional skills to our aid via roles on one of the Club Committees.

The roles listed below are ongoing volunteer positions that support the day to day operations of the club. They involve a higher level of responsibility than our week to week match-day helper roles and play a key part in contributing to UQFC.

Volunteer Positions

Facilities Manager

Marketing and Sponsorships Coordinator

Referee Coordinator (Miniroos)

Referee Mentor (Miniroos)

If you're able to help, we'd love to hear from you. Please email VPJuniors@uqfc.com.au

Field Coordinators

Field Coordinators are friendly volunteers who help make match days run smoothly at UQFC. This is a simple, practical way to support the club by being a visible and helpful presence at the fields  - answering questions, pointing teams and families in the right direction, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere on game day.

This role is flexible and shared across many volunteers. Tasks are posted weekly through the Majestri Volunteer Hub, and you can put your hand up as often (or as little) as suits you , even just for an hour or two on a single game day. No experience is needed, and you’ll be supported by the club with clear instructions for each task.

If you’re already at the fields supporting your child, this is an easy way to help the club and be part of the wider UQFC community.

Please keep an eye out on the Volunteer Task board for your opportunity to help or email VPJuniors@uqfc.com.au if you have any questions,
