OVERVIEW
 What is UQFC Social League?

UQFC Social League is one of UQFC’s student and community participation activities. Social League Football is a competitive, but social football format played on full fields. Competitions run in line with the University semesters and take place in semester 2 (August/September) up to exam block.

The competition is run over 10 weeks during Semester 1 and a second season is run in Semester 2. Semester 1 commences approx. 2 weeks after Orientation week. Teams are standard 11 a side , with unlimited interchange during the match; each match consists of two equal periods, with a brief half-time interval for teams to change ends. A maximum of 18 players can register for any one team.
UQFC Social League it is perfect for players who want to keep active but can’t commit to weekly training and weekend games for a full season, individuals who just want to have some fun with friends and it is also a great opportunity for new participants to begin playing football in a fun and social setting. Teams can be mixed.

Competition
 The UQFC Social League plays at Field 9 on Sundays between 8.00 am and 7.00 pm. The competition is mixed with no minimum on the number of male/female players per team. The competition is an 11-a side-format and guarantees every team nine games over 10 weeks.

Registration
You can register as a team, group of players or individually. You must be 17 years of age to play but do not need to be a student at UQ to register. For information updates please ‘like’ our facebook page.
Fees
Player fees per semester/competition are $215 per player. Minimum number of players per team to enter is 14 with a maximum of 18 per team.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT :
The Semester registration fee is $215 per player. Players wishing to play both semester 1 and semester 2 must register for each period separately.
Social League Football registrations are processed through UQFC Majestri as social registrations.
Online payment is mandatory. Manual registration of players to the Club will not be accepted. A refund of a registration fee will only be issued for a player prior to the first round of matches. The refund will be provided by the Club and the players seeking refund must contact the Social League Co-ordinator on UQFCsocial@gmail.com.
