When do we play and train?

Teams play from February to September on a home and away ground format & games are generally played on Sundays but subject to change depending on Football Queensland scheduling. Training is held three times a week on midweek evenings (Tuesday and Thursday) plus a Strength and Conditioning session once a week for our U20 & Senior Women’s teams.

How are teams selected?

UQFC will announce trial dates in October/November each year with the process continuing right up until the start of the new academic year (end of February). Trials will be carried out with a highly experienced coaching staff selecting squads for the subsequent season.

How old must a player be to play senior women’s football?

Girls are allowed to play senior women’s football in the calendar year of their SIXTEENTH (16th) birthday.

What Kit do I need?

All players will be provided with a training kit pack that they must wear along with their football boots and shin guards. The Club will provide playing shirts that are returned to the club.
