When do we play and train?

Girls football is played either on Friday evenings, Saturdays or Sundays depending on the age group and zonal scheduling, with a home and away ground format. Training is held midweek evenings.

How are teams selected?

UQFC will announce trial dates traditionally in October/November or January/February pre-season for the various age groups and levels, with an experienced coaching staff selecting squads for the subsequent season

What Kit do I need?

All players must wear football boots (plastic tags) and shin guards. The Club will provide team shirts which are returned at the end of the season. A training kit and playing shorts are provided upon registration.

Who coaches Girls Football?

Girl’s teams have FFA certified coaches in addition to dedicated volunteer coaches with UQFC developing these coaches through coaching courses or financially supporting attendance at coaching courses run by Football Queensland (FQ)
