What is Divisional Football?

Divisional Football is an age group competition administered by Football Brisbane (FB) for age levels U12 to U16 in an 11 a side format.

UQFC traditionally field teams from Division 1 to Division 5 depending upon annual registration numbers and demand.

When do we play and train?

Divisional Football is played either on Saturdays or Sundays depending on the age group and FB scheduling, with a home and away ground format. Training is held midweek evenings.

How are players and teams selected?

UQFC will announce trial dates traditionally in November or January/February pre-season for the various age groups and levels, with an experienced coaching staff selecting squads for the subsequent season

What kit do I need?

All players must wear football boots (plastic tags) and shin guards. The Club will provide team shirts which are returned at the end of the season. A training kit and playing shorts are provided upon registration.

Who coaches Divisional Football?

Divisional teams have dedicated volunteer coaches with UQFC developing these coaches through grass roots coaching courses or financially supporting attendance at coaching courses run by Football Queensland (FQ)
